Applitools closes out an incredible month of June by taking visual UI testing to the Selenium Conference in Bengaluru, India.
From June 28-30, 2018, Applitools is sponsoring and participating at SeleniumConf India in Bengaluru (@seleniumconf).
What is Selenium Conference? #SeConfIndia is a three-day conference (both nonprofit, volunteer-run) that brings together Selenium developers, contributors and enthusiasts from around the world to share ideas, socialize, and work together on advancing the present and future of Selenium.
Where is Selenium Conference India? It’s being held in the Hotel Lalit Ashok Bangalore in Kumara Krupa High Grounds.
This year, we’re thrilled to be Selenium & Reception Sponsors alongside Sauce Labs, and look forward to helping product teams iterate faster to deliver better web applications and improve customer experiences. How? By enabling automation techniques to accelerate visual UI testing and monitoring through a holistic approach that we call Application Visual Management (AVM).
Unlike traditional functional testing tools that require many lines of code to check layout — and still miss critical bugs — Applitools Eyes is able to validate an entire screen with just one API call. This saves test automation engineers hours of work; expands test coverage to more operating systems, browsers and viewports; and ultimately lets them release better quality software.
What is Applitools presenting at SeleniumConf India 2018?
Manoj Kumar, senior technical consultant at Applitools, is participating in three sessions at SeleniumConf India.
First, on Thursday, June 28, 2018, Manoj joins Marcus Merrell and Diego Molina to lead a Selenium Grid workshop. This full-day workshop happening from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Lalit 3 teaches you how to run your grid effectively, using best practices culled from several large grid installations
Next, on Friday, June 29, 2018, Manoj takes center stage with Simon Stewart for the opening keynote at 9 a.m. in Kalinga Hall 2. For this highly anticipated talk, Simon and Manoj will present “Selenium: State of the Union” for all attendees at SeleniumConf India.
Finally, on Saturday, June 30, 2018, Manoj joins Marcus Merrell, Simon Stewart and Titus Fortner for the Q&A with the Selenium Committee for a live panel discussion led by Naresh Jain. This keynote panel will conclude the proceedings of SeleniumConf India in Kalinga Hall 2 from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Gil Tayar, senior architect at Applitools, is also presenting his talk “Not Only Cars: AI, Please Test My App” on Friday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. in Lalit 1.
Gil’s talk is an exploration and revelation of what is being done today to automate regression testing, and also to speculate about the future – with a unique tie-in to autonomous vehicles. He’ll introduce you to the six levels of autonomous UI testing (that correspond to the 5 levels of autonomous driving) and will share what current AI techniques can bring to automated testing.
In addition, our team will be at the expo hall on Friday and Saturday to answer all your visual AI questions and make sure you go home with visually perfect swag. Make sure to stop by our booth and say hi!
We are honored and excited to support the Selenium community at SeleniumConf India! Hope to see you there, but if you’re not able to join us and want to get started with Applitools, request a demo, or sign up for a free Applitools account.
